Short description Enrichment and Identification of Cationic Urinary Proteins
Experimental description Cationic or basic proteins were enriched from normal human urine by batch adsorption using SP Sepharose Fast Flow beads, which were initially equilibrated with acetic acid (pH 4.8). The enriched cationic urinary proteins were then resolved with 2-DE and visualized with Coomassie Blue stain. The visualized spots were then excised and subjected to in-gel tryptic digestion (with reduction and alkylation). Proteolytic peptides were then analzed by MALDI-Q-TOF MS/MS (Q-TOF Ultima, Micromass).
