Short description |
Pancreatic juice analysis |
Experimental description |
This sample is a pancreatic juice specimen from a patient with chronic pancreatitis. The pancreatic juice sample was initially resolved on a 1D gradient gel (4-12%), bands were excised and digested by trypsin. The extracted peptides were treated with PNGaseF in 18O-labeled water (this converts asparagines to aspartic acid with a total mass increase of 3 Da due to 18O incorporation) and analyzed by LC-MS/MS. |
