Experimental description Esophageal tissue was homogenized and proteins were digested with trypsin. The extracted peptides from adjacent normal and tumor parts were labeled with iTRAQ reagent 114, 115 and 116, 117 (114 and 115 for adjacent normal esophageal tissue samples and 116 and 117 from Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma)
