Short description Proteomic analysis of osteoarthritis synovial fluid
Experimental description Synovial fluid from osteoarthritis (OA) patients was pooled and subjected to depletion using multiple affinity removal system to remove the abundant proteins. The depleted protein was then fractionated by SDS-PAGE, SCX and Offgel. In addition, lectin affinity chromatography of OA synovial fluid was carried out to enrich the glycoproteins. Lectin enriched glycoprotein was fractionated by SDS-PAGE and SCX. All the fractions were analyzed on the high resolution Orbitrap Velos mass spectrometer.
